Overview
This EMDR Intermediate Specialty Course is designed to assist you in integrating EMDR therapy when working within the Public Safety, First Responder, and Military cultures. Through lecture, demonstration, and practice, you will develop skills to apply the AIP Theory to those who respond to high-crisis, dangerous, and emergent situations experienced in the line of duty and/or active duty.
Ms. Russell will be including a number of specialized protocols she has adapted for use with this population, including Kiessling’s Extended Resourcing, CIDP, and Body CID, Knipe’s Targeting Avoidance, CIPOS, and Blocking Beliefs A.J. Popky’s DeTur, Blore & Holmshaw Blind to Therapist, and more.
